Firangi Sanskar Warga (FSW)
A specially curated kids’ camp designed for children aged 9 to 14, this initiative introduces foreign languages through the lens of culture and civilization. These sessions are meticulously planned to ignite curiosity and lay the foundation for a love of languages at an early age.
Kapuskondyachi Gosht (KG)
Who doesn’t enjoy a good story? In this storytelling session, we bring tales from foreign lands to life, making them relatable for young minds. The stories, selected from global literature, are translated into Marathi or Hindi by the Flatworld team and presented as engaging plays or narrations by professional storytellers.
Global Villager Challenge (GVC)
To spark creativity among our translators and collaborators, we introduced this literary translation competition. Translating foreign literature into Marathi, this challenge has seen five successful editions, with plans to expand into more Indian formats soon. It’s a platform to reignite the passion for language and challenge the mind.
Firangi Katta
A “Katta” is a space for casual, friendly gatherings, and Firangi Katta is exactly that for language enthusiasts! Participants discuss everyday topics in their learned foreign language in an informal, relaxed setting. Whether to revive a once-mastered language or practice conversational skills, this space is perfect for anyone looking to reconnect with a foreign culture.
Prolingua
Designed for professionals who have acquired foreign language skills but need to sharpen them, Prolingua offers skill-polishing sessions. These interactive programs not only enhance employee engagement but also boost productivity, helping organizations unlock their workforce’s potential.
